After the game manager Mark Sampson was pleased with lots of aspects of his team performance but was clearly frustrated by the penalty awarded against Bristol.
"The penalty was the defining moment of the game without doubt, and it was not a penalty. Leeds controlled most of the game but I never felt they ever cut us open and created any clear cut chances. So to play a game making so little mistakes defensively and concede to a goal that was the mistake of the officials is hard to take.
"I felt the goalkeeper and back four were as solid as we have been all season and Mush and Katie in front of them provided fantastic protection. Add to that Loren, Hels, Sharla and Grace working incredibly hard and creating chances from limited ball, these were big positives for us. The only frustrating aspect of our performance was our reaction to the first goal, but in the circumstances I can understand why we conceded the second so soon after the first.
"If we can play with the spirit an defensive organisation we had today and add a little more quality to our play with the ball then we will have a great chance of picking up some wins over the next month."
